Circle of Relationship - Love and Support in Lockdown

Love and Support in Lockdown

This is a recording of a 45 minute webinar inviting you to focus on your relationships during Lockdown. For some, it will not be an easy exercise, but it is a very valuable one. Relationships often just happen – some will have thrived in Lockdown, others will have become strained. Drawing out your Circle of Relationship will enable you to look at your relationships holistically and by increasing your awareness of them, enable you to be more intentional about them. It will help you to get clarity on where to invest more, and where to invest less. You’ll need a pen and paper.

Reflecting back and looking forward

Reflecting on 2020

We’ve made it to the end of 2020! Congratulations! Reflecting back before focusing on 2021 seems to carry more weight this year. It’s important to process what happened in the last year, increasing our self awareness and challenging our thoughts and ideas. Taking time to acknowledge and honour what we’ve been through and what we’ve learnt – taking those lessons in to 2021. So I’d like to invite you to press pause, untangle your thoughts and hold space for yourself by working through these questions. This will help you to decide what to leave behind and what to bring with us. There are 8 questions for 2020 and 8 questions for 2021.

Four challenging themes - worry, anxiety, overwhelm and connection

Challenges for Mums

Do you know a mum who is worried? If so, take a moment watch this short video.  I’m excited to share the first in a series of four short videos alongside fellow entrepreneur, Kate King from Skylark Educational Consulting. Kate and I both have a big heart to see mums and families thriving. Kate works with children who are struggling at school. We’ve identified four challenging themes to focus on – worry, anxiety, overwhelm and connection. Today’s video is on worry and how we can help.

Anxiety conversation

Do you know a mum who is anxious? If so, take a moment watch this short video. Collaborating with Kate King from Skylark Educational Consulting, here is the second in our series of four short videos. Today’s video focuses on when a worry becomes anxiety. Everyone has worries from time to time, but what happens when these worries escalate and result in behaviour which can stop you in your tracks. Sometimes this is when intervention is needed. Watch our short video to find out how we can help anxious mums and anxious children.

Overwhelm Conversation

Do you know a mum who is feeling overwhelmed? If so, take a moment watch this short video. Collaborating with Kate King from Skylark Educations Consulting, here is the third in our series of four short videos focusing on the challenging feeling of overwhelm. The pressures and demands of being a mum can often lead to a feeling of overwhelm. Overwhelm can make functioning on a day to day basis really difficult. It is also exhausting on your mind and body and can often leave you struggling to get out of a vicious circle. Watch our short video to find out how we can help mums and children who are struggling with overwhelm.

Connection conversation

Do you know a mum who is struggling to pursue connection? If so, take a moment watch this short video. Collaborating with Kate King from Skylark Educational Consulting, here is the final in our short video series focusing on the challenging theme of connection. We all know that connection is important but sometimes we tend to react instead of respond. We may find it increasingly difficult to connect with our partner or our children. In today’s video we unpack how we support mums to pursue connection.

I started my journey with Jackie struggling with some quite embedded self-confidence and self-belief issues – I was also working in a hectic job with some complex relationships to navigate, whilst trying to look after a family and their needs. The whole world changed quite dramatically midway through our journey (pandemic), and, at a time where things could have spiralled further out of control, Jackie helped me to prioritise what is important, to reflect on and learn from past experiences, and to take energy and confidence from the positives. Her calm and composed nature enabled some good, rational discussions, and she guided me towards reaching my own conclusions about how to address things, in a way that is personalised for me.
